He was predeceased by: his parents, E. R. Mayo and Neva Mayo (Lincoln); his parents-in-law, Max and Ethel Cline; and his great grandchild Cecelia Wynn Mayo.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Mayo of Gibbon; his children, Curt Mayo (Lorri) of Gibbon, Renee Mayo of Grand Island and Shannon Weidner (Mike) of Cypress, TX; his grandchildren, Brett Mayo (Meagan), Erin Feeney (Bryce), Ryan Mayo, Jayden Weidner and Kylee Weidner; and his great grandchildren, Landon, Kaleb and Simone Mayo.
