It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Shields of Gibbon, Nebraska, born in Shelton, Nebraska, who passed away on February 18, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore "Ted" Cosner and Laura Cosner (Dally); her husband Ronald Shields; her siblings, Betty Winchester, Margaret Sorgenfrei, Kathryn Johnson and Vernon Robert Cosner; and her brother-in-law Raymond Reeder.

She is survived by: her children, Doran Shields of Gibbon, Alan Shields of Gibbon, Lynn Shields of Gibbon and Janis Husted (Kevin) of Bartlesville, Oklahoma; her sister Carleen Reeder of Shelton; and her brothers-in-law, Larry Sorgenfrei of Grand Island and Harold Johnson of Grand Island. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren.

Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
