Though Myrtle may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Oris C. McMahan and Ruby McMahan (Burgess); her husband Donald Halkyard; and her siblings, Jess McMahan and Patricia McMahan.
She is survived by: her children, David "Rusty" Halkyard (Mary) of Gibbon, Johnny Halkyard (Karen) of Gibbon, Debbie Chaney (Scott) of Kearney and Dee Krolikowski (Duane) of Gibbon. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; as well as several extended family.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
