He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Ross and Irene Ross (Hoffman). He is survived by: his wife Jodi Chien of Sunnyvale, CA; his stepchildren, James Lin of California and Kathy Lin (Abu Wawda) of California; and his stepgranddaughters, Hannah, Rebecca and Ella Wawda.

Memorials may be directed to the Salvation Army.
