Alan W. Shields Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alan W. Shields of Gibbon, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 23, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ronald Shields and Patricia Shields (Cosner); his daughter Cassandra of Omaha; his siblings, Doran Shields of Gibbon, Lynn Shields of Gibbon and Janis Husted (Kevin) of Bartlesville, OK; his nieces, Mindy Jurgens (Neal) of Gibbon and Amy White (Ryan) of Skiatook, OK; and his nephew Chris Golden (Christine) of Netherlands.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Faith United Church (203 Garfield St, Gibbon, NE 68840). A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
Memorials are suggested to the family for future designation.
