She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Orr and Anna Orr; her husband Clarence Schmidt; her brothers, Don, Norman, Dean and Lyle; and her sons, Corey and Rick.
She is survived by: her son Darvin of Dallas; and her siblings, Mary Ann Plummer, Donna Keller of Scottsbluff, Keitha Bartlett of Greeley, Colorado and Dick Orr. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A memorial fund is established to the First United Methodist Church of Gering and to the United Cerebral Palsy of Nebraska, 11930 Arbor Street Suite 202, Omaha, NE 68144.
