Virginia Sides wrote a sympathy message

“My thoughts and prayers are with each of you during this time of sadness and grief. When first we moved to Gering and became part of the Christ the King family, we met you. We watched your family grow as did ours. My brother Frank thoendel who taught in Gering at the time said you never saw a Murillo kid enter school that was not spit shined and polished. What a wonderful family you are. I think especially of you Mary Lou. Loss is a tough one to take. Smiles and Hugs, Virgina Sides”
