We bid farewell to Shirley Ann Vogel of Gering, Nebraska, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on March 1, 2025 at the age of 86. Shirley touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Reinhardt Feil and Eva Feil (Schaffer); her husband Howard J. Vogel; her brothers, Reinhardt Jr. Feil and Fred Feil; her siblings-in-law, Donna Feil and Roy Pfenning; and her nieces, Imogene Green and Renee Feil.
She is survived by: her children, Tammy Heckman (Ed) of Gretna, NE, Rod Vogel of Bayard, NE, Travis Vogel of Gering, NE, Harlen Vogel (Sheri) of Bridgeport, NE and Trent Vogel (Tera) of Alliance, NE; her grandchildren, Tiffanie Green (Joel) of Lincoln, NE, Rocky Heckman (Brittni) of Gretna, NE, Seth Vogel of Bayard, NE, Mitch Vogel (Brittany) of Hemingford, NE, Trae Vogel (Bailey) of Alliance, NE, Rayce Vogel (Jennifer) of Alliance, NE, Alexis Rutter (Trent) of Tioga, ND, Paige Vogel of Scottsbluff, NE, Andrea Brady of Bridgeport, NE, Jeremy Bolzer of Bridgeport, NE, Morgan Bolzer of Scottsbluff, NE, Dylan Busskohl of Laramie, WY, Tierra Vogel of Alliance, NE and Taylor Vogel of Alliance, NE; her sister Delores Pfenning of Scottsbluff, NE; and her sister-in-law Laura Feil of Hawk Springs, WY. She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Valley Bible Church (1422 9th Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361).
