She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad P. Schnell and Martha Schnell (Burbach); her sister Gladys Lancaster (Chambers); and her nephew Sam Patterson. She is survived by: her former husband Ernie Miskimen; her children, Rodney, Timothy, Terri Ford (Jim) of Carson City, NV and Rod of Bozeman, MT; her friends, Van and Valerie Bond; her sister Kathryn Patterson (Vern); and her nieces and nephews, Zack of Rapid City, SD and Gay Chambers. She is also survived by three granddaughters; three great-granddaughters; four great-grandsons; nieces; an aunt; an uncle; and several cousins.
Please no flowers but a memorial can be given to the American Historical Society of Germans from Russia for purchasing research materials from Russia in Shirley's name: AHSGR 631 D Street Lincoln, NE 68502 or to the charity of your choice.
