He was predeceased by: his parents, Royal Bolin (Pat) and Lucy Bolin (Craton); his son Roy'; and his nephew Andrew Douglas Schneider. He is survived by: his children, Evelyn Joy and Ronald Dwight; his wife Joy; his children, Evie Flessner (Stan) and Ron Bolin (Stacey); his grandchildren, Ryan Bolin (Hollie) and Reese Bolin; his great grandchildren, Riley and Remington Bolin; his sister Valetta Schneider (Mel); his niece Adicia Paschal (Bill); and his nephew Jacob Schneider (Min Jeong).
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ the King Catholic Church (1835 N St, Gering, NE 69341).
It was Doug's wish that any memorial tributes be made in his name to the Nebraska Children's Home or the Northfield Vista Memorial Fund.
