He was predeceased by: his parents, Jake Schwartzkopf and Rose Schwarzkopf (Maul); his wife Debbie Pierce; his mother-in-law Shirley Pierce; and his brother-in-law Roger Pierce.
He is survived by: his children, Brian Schwartzkopf of Mitchell and Jill Walker (Ryan) of Scottsbluff; his grandchildren, Chesney Walker of Billings, Montana and Caleb Walker (Kyla Knight) of Scottsbluff; his brother Larry Schwarzkopf (Linda) of Phoenix, Arizona; and his father-in-law Mel Pierce of Gering.
