He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard "Dick" Cox and Virginia "Ginni" Ann Cox (Buechler); his wife Lorrie Sue Nickelson-Nickal; his in-laws, Ken and Laura Nickelson; his daughter-in-law Molly Nickal; his siblings-in-law, Larry Cushing, Linda Cushing and Helen Whyte; and his niece-in-law Steffany.
He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Alicia) and Matthew; his stepchildren, Gary and Jamie (Carlos); his brother Guy (Deb); his niece Alissa (David); his nephews, Ian (Erin), Landon and Larry (Jamie); and his grandchildren, Charlie, Harlie, Alex, Kameryn, Calvin and Oliver. He is also survived by several extended family members and friends.
