It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Orozco of Gering, Nebraska, born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on August 28, 2021, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Orozco and Angeline Orozco (Correa); his brother Rudy Orozco; his sister-in-law Josie Orozco; his niece Amanda Orozco; and his granddaughter Mikal "Mikie" Orozco.
He is survived by: his wife Lucy Orozco; his children, Valarie Ysac (Leo), Stacy Orozco (Salvador Gonzalez), Jena Orozco and Brandi De Santiago (Michael); his grandchildren, Joshua Orozco (Isela), Chelsea Perez (Daniel), Gabriela Gonzalez-Orozco, Alejandra "Spooky" Gonzalez-Orozco, Lluvia Orozco, Aurora Verdin Orozco, Ceasar "Lalo" Orozco and Victoria Orozco; his great grandchildren, Adrian Smith, Fabian Orozco, Lenisia Orozco, Aneliza Orozco, Quintyn Perez and Daniel Perez Jr.; his siblings, Virginia Bales (Richard), Amador Orozco (Carla) and Edward Orozco (JoAnn); and his pet TigerLilly. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
