It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melvin Ray Loseke of Gering, Nebraska, born in Bridgeport, Nebraska, who passed away on January 6, 2021, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Loseke and Emma Loseke (Stohr); his wife Joann Loseke (Pedersen); and his siblings, Vernon and Rosetta.

He is survived by: his daughter Michelle; his brother Myron; and his sister-in-law Judy Pedersen.

Social distancing mandates will be followed and masks are required.

“Hi Michelle, I am so sorry to hear of your dad’s death. The last I spoke to him was at Uncle Vernon’s funeral and it was really nice to see him. I was trying to get to the funeral but unfortunately I can’t get across the state for the Wednesday event. So I wanted to offer my condolences to you. Your dad was my dad’s last living sibling and I wanted to be there for both him and you...it’s been so long since we have seen each other. I hope you are well otherwise. Take care...Tina”
