He was predeceased by: his parents, John Bishop and Betty Bishop (Smith); and his friend Jim Hanson. He is survived by: his daughter Nicole Hanke (Caleb); his grandchildren, Elijah, Genevieve, Emmett, Joseph, Elizabeth and Catherine; his friend Bob Anderson (Janelle); his pet Kase; and also Jackie Bishop.
A memorial has been established for his grandchildren per his request, they can be addressed to his daughter Nicole Hanke and mailed to PO Box 613 in Gering.
