With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of LaVonne Ann Pieper (Gering, Nebraska), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 18, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Amos Wagner and Ina Neva Wagner (Korell); her in-laws, Theodore and Rose Pieper; and her siblings-in-law, Ronnie Schafer, Harold Pieper, Margaret Pieper, Sister Bea Pieper and Mary Ann Pieper.
She is survived by: her husband Don; her daughters, Deb Krichau of Littleton, CO, Kiefer Krichau, Kristen Wright of Littleton, CO, Lori Alvarez of Gilbert, AZ and Ashley Spaulding (DJ); her grandchildren, Ava, Axel and Nicole Deal (Jaye); her children, Levi, Meilani, Kai, Zachary Mohrbacker of Gilbert, AZ and Doug Pieper (Morgan Pieper) of Scottsbluff, NE; her grandchildren, Hunter, Stormy, Kendall of Gering, NE, McKenna Ellis of Scottsbluff, NE, Derek Pieper (Taryn) and Beckett of Gering, NE; her sons, Dennis Pieper (Carrie) of Norfolk, NE and Dylan Pieper (Alex); her grandchildren, Adalynn, Taya of Norfolk, NE, Quinn Vrbicky (Brandon), Drue Pieper of Omaha, NE and Kade Pieper of Norfolk, NE.; and her sisters, Joann Schafer of Culbertson, NE and Carol Feuerhelm (Alan) of LeMars, IA..
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 9:15 AM to 10:30 AM at the St. Agnes Catholic Church (2314 3rd Ave, Scottsbluff, NE 69361). A rosary will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 9:45 AM at the same location. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
