Johnny Rein Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Johnny Rein of Gering, Nebraska, who passed away on January 22, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Jacob Rein and Mary Rein (Jacoby); his daughter Tracy; his siblings, Wilma James, Helen Bruntz, Frieda Rien, Esther Stricker, George and Jake; his son-in-law Joel Messman; and his parents-in-law, George and Frieda Klein.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Klein of Gering; his grandchildren, Kim, Tracy, Whitney, Max, Andee and Kambry; his children, Mark Rein and Kim Messman of Gering; his granddaughters, Nicole Messman of Gering and Kristie Messman of Scottsbluff; his great grandchildren, Maxwell Miller, Andee Jo Miller of Gering and Kambry Messman of Scottsbluff; and his sisters, Mabel Dedlow of Gering and Shirley Delgado of California. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Johnny's honor be made in care of Gering United Methodist Church or WNCC Cougar Athletics.
