It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Alice Eskam of Gering, Nebraska, born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 13, 2024, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Rieb and Margaret Rieb (Schuppie). She is survived by: her son-in-law Gene Hoff; her grandchildren, Brenda Witmer (Charlie), Brian Hoff (Julie), Jodi Rupp (Brian) and Jered Eskam (Trish); her great grandchildren, Kamilah and Carson Rupp; her grandchildren, Owen, Logan Hoff, Paige Weborg, Jaxson and Macie Eskam; her daughter-in-law Darlene Wickard (Randy); her brother-in-law Rieny Eskam; her husband Ted Eskam; and her siblings, Raymond and Esther Propp. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Irene's honor be made to Zion Evangelical Church or Hospice Care.
