He was predeceased by: his parents, Pete Schledewitz, Sr. and Margaret Schledewitz (Heimbuck); and his siblings, Pete Schledewitz Jr. (Shirley) and Helen Schlager (George). He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
