It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert C Hinman (Gering, Nebraska), who passed away on January 22, 2020, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lloyd Hinman and Stella Hinman (James); his former wife Marie A. Tillotson; his sisters, Arlene Wiege (Leo), Norma Peterson (Harold), Mima Edgar (Dewain) and Donna Schuman (Irv); his siblings-in-law, Bob Maupin, Kelly Bowen and Phyllis Marsh (Alex); and his brothers, Morris and Dean.
He is survived by: his wife Pauline "Polly" Fisher Hays of Gering; his children, Linda Hinman of Scottsbluff, Douglas Hinman (Barb) of Oregon and Patrick Hinman (Val) of York, Neb; his grandchildren, Leslie Templin (Matt), Janelle Neal (Johnathan), Gregory Hinman and Travis Hinman (Suzette); his great grandchildren, Riley Hinman (Emily), Penelope Neal, Zachary, Abby and Isaac Hinman; his great great grandchildren, Jaxon, Henry and Harper Hinman; his sister Ardis Bowen of Mitchell; his sister-in-law Betty Maupin of Montana; his stepchildren, Devon Curry (Gene) of California, Randy and Elaine Hays of Cheyenne, WY; and also, Val Mitchell (Brian), Stuart Hayes (Katie), Melissa Michael, Jesse Michael, Thomas Anderson, Vaughn Marie and Willow Mitchell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and several extended family.
