It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helga Tschacher of Gering, Nebraska, born in Hemingford, Nebraska, who passed away on March 27, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Martin Hansen and Mary Hansen (Walters). She is survived by: her husband Lee Tschacher; her children, Lynda Montague of Gering, Martin Tschacher of Gering, Laura Varah (Kirk) of Reddington and Shelly Hammock of Elgin; and her grandchildren, Tom Montague, Scott Tschacher, Nikki Tschacher, Carly Tschacher, Joel Varah (Allison), Seth Hammock, Sean Hammock and Shane Hammock. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.

The family respectfully requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials in Helga's honor be made in care of the Panhandle Humane Society.
