He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Sauer and Hermina Sauer (Huck); his great grandchild Hunter Lee Alkire; and his close friend Grace Andrew. He is survived by: his mother-in-law Sandra Heimbouch of Mitchell; his children, Arlan (Wendy) of Thornton, Colorado and Stacy Sauer (Jeff Chaon) of Yuma, Arizona; his siblings, Mary Ellen Kropp of Scottsbluff, Loretta Kintzler (Jerry) of Riverton, Wyoming and Paul Sauer (Bea) of Aurora, Colorado; and also, Arlan and Stacy. He is also survived by two granddaughters, one grandson, 4 great granddaughters.
