It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Schwabauer (Gering, Nebraska), born in Minatare, Nebraska, who passed away on June 23, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Fredrick Schwabauer and Amelia Schwabauer (Wirth); his wife Violet Irene of Gering; his sons, Larry (Nerita), Jerry (Beth) and John (Kathy); his sisters, Evelyn Reichert and Mary Ann Schwabauer; his sister-in-law Darlene Kenzy (Curtis); his grandchildren, Andrea Wetherington, Jason, Brian Schwabauer, Benjamin, Joseph Schwabauer, Samantha Elzey and Joe Warner; and his great grandchildren, Jayden, Emilia Schwabauer, Melina Schwabauer, Ryan, Luke and Adisyn Wetherington. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
