He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Armstrong and Minnie Armstrong; his former wife Vivian Lawson; his wife Evelyn Thomas Behm; and his siblings, Eston "Tater" Armstrong, Harlan "Dugan" Armstrong, Donald "Smiles" Armstrong and Veda "Skeeter" Sneeden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherry Freouf and Susan Kaufman (Tim); his grandchildren, Jamie Foster (Ken), Rhonda Hahn (Chris), Tracey Koch (Frances), Melissa Woodson, Justin Lana, Kassie Ehler (Bowdy) and Tanner Kaufman (Tayler); and his brother Gene "Jigs" Armstrong. He is also survived by 13 great grandchildren, 12 great great grandchildren, five great great great grandchildren.
