He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Edwin "Dee" Malcolm, Jr. and Ferne Lucille Malcolm (Jones); his wife Carol "Bunny" Powell; his brother Chris; his sister-in-law Susan Veskerna; his nephew Spencer Smith; and his parents-in-law, Ellen and Robert Powell.
He is survived by: his children, Michelle Heinen (Ross) of Cheyenne, WY, Laurie O'Gorman of Cortland, NE and Eddie Malcolm (Jade) of Gering; his sister Vicky Smith (Stan); his sister-in-law Bonnie of Lincoln, NE; his brother Rick Malcolm (Nancy); and his brothers-in-law, Bob Powell (Deb) of Spokane and Gib Veskerna of Harrison, NE.. He is also survived by cousins as well as many cherished nieces and nephews.
He was Bunny's primary caregiver during her battles with both breast cancer and Alzheimer's and he neglected his own health to care for her until the very end.
