It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald J Montz (Gering, Nebraska), born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska, who passed away on December 9, 2019, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Marty Montz and Sylva Montz (Folden); his wife Joan McKeown; his siblings, Wayne, Elnora Owen, Bill, Bob, Roberta, Ellis and Larry; his siblings-in-law, Dick McKeown, Dale Owen, Alberta Montz, Marilyn Montz and Verna Montz; and his nephew Ray Owen.

He is survived by: his sisters-in-law, Marlene McKeown of Mitchell and Evelyn Montz of Scottsbluff. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and a host of friends.

Memorials may be given to the Gering Volunteer Fire Department.
