She was predeceased by: her parents, Iliff Dummitt and Lucy Dummitt; her parents-in-law, Earl, Irene Carson and Dorthia Benjamin; her brother Donald Dummitt; and her daughters, Cherie Carson and Rene Adams.

She is survived by: her former husband Charles Carson; her husband Ivan Benjamin; her daughter Karyn Grasmick (Brian); her grandchildren, Amy Bates (Frank Jones), Brent Grasmick (Kendall) and Andrea Wetherington (Josh); and her sons-in-law, Rodger Derr and Sam Adams. She is also survived by three great granddaughters, three great grandsons, two great great granddaughters and two great great grandsons.

Due to Covid-19, services will be held at a later date.
