He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester Smock and Octavia Smock (Cook); and his siblings, Phyllis Marrill, Leonard Smock and Ron Smock.
He is survived by: his wife Caroline; his children, Stefani Hazlewood (Jay) and Stuart Smock (Kim); and his grandchildren, Sarah Jones (Dillon), Megan Martinez (Justin), Chase Hazlewood and Julia Smock.
Memorials may be given to the American Cancer Society or Regional West Hospice.
