Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Chance Benton Barrett of Gering, Nebraska, who passed away at the age of 22, on November 20, 2021. He is survived by: his parents, Craig Barrett and Carrie Barrett of Gering, NE; his sister Kurstin Barrett of Gering, NE; his grandparents, Charles, Karen Brewer of Stapleton, NE, Dan and Linda Barrett of Kimball, NE; his great-grandparent George Jerred of Scottsbluff, NE; his uncles, Bryan Barrett (Laura) of Gering, NE and Anthony Barrett (Tina) of Lincoln, NE; his pets, Brody and Thanos; and his great-grandparents, Violet Hankins, Howard Barrett, Shirley Barrett and DeDe Jerred. He is also survived by numerous other aunts, uncles, cousins.

While we mourn his loss, we find some peace in knowing that there are six families that will receive the blessing of Chance's organ donation.
