He was predeceased by: his parent Helen Mitchell; his grandparents, Marie and Henry Hoffman; and his father-in-law Larry Rakes. He is survived by: his wife Ginger Rakes; his children, Kerissa (Zac), Santanna (Austin), Arianna (Brock), Mindy (Shaun) and James (Angie); his brother Nick (Penny); his mother-in-law Leah Rakes; his brother-in-law Lance Rakes (Mandi); his nephews, Konor, Kooper Rakes, Mark Schwartzkopf (Jolie), James and Justin Schwartzkopf; his grandchildren, Harper, Hudson, Hux, Adalynn, Baby Ferguson, Chanel (Xavier), Faith and Jade; and his great grandchild Tristan.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at Platte Valley Bank under "Allan Mitchell Memorial Fund" to help offset funeral expenses.
