Alice Jean Hamburger Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alice Jean Hamburger of Gering, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Alice Jean farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Alice Jean is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeremiah Steele and Elma Pauline Steele (Catlett); her husband Larry; her son Garrett; and her son-in-law Ronald Gross.
She is survived by: her daughter Debra J Nickal; her granddaughter Cassondra Vann (Bryant); and her sisters, Jane Brown and Carol Pruden of Texas. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, March 5th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the First United Methodist Church of Gering (900 O St, Gering, NE 69341).
