With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Marian Czapla of Genoa, Nebraska, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 18, 2024 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard Marion Shelhorn and Frances Mary Shelhorn (Werner); her husband Clarence John Czapla; her son Thomas Czapla; her grandson Henry John Czapla; and her stepfather Earl Fish.
She is survived by: her siblings, Florence Thompson and Guy Fish; her children, Eileen Haslam (Milt), Kathy Week (Don), Don, Mark, Gary (Amy) and Paul (Sheila); her grandchildren, Andrew (Adrian), Alyssa Czapla, Jessica Czapla, Matt, Ashlyn, Zach Week, Marissa Mezzacappa (Marc), Ben, Ethan Czapla, Jacob and Allie Czapla; and her great grandchild Lily Czapla.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Genoa Medical Facilities long term care unit.
