He was predeceased by: his parents, William Sprunk and Clara Sprunk (Beierle); his wife Irene Thiele; his siblings, Evelyn Gleeson (Howard), Pearl Gossman (Earl), Art Sprunk and William Sprunk Jr. (Betty); his son-in-law William Stockdale; and his grandson Thomas Alan Preister.
He is survived by: his children, Dan Sprunk (Brenda) of Monroe, NE, Marilyn Stockdale of Omaha, NE, Carolee Preister (Alan) of Columbus, NE, David Sprunk (Jenay) of Monroe, NE, LeRoy Sprunk Jr. of Monroe, NE and Virginia Semerad (Leroy) of Rogers, NE; and his sister-in-law Alice Sprunk (Art) of Platte Center. He is also survived by 20 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers and plants memorials are suggested to St. Isidore Catholic Church.
