He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Sempek and Theodosia Sempek (Micek); and his wife Inez Sempek. He is survived by: his children, Janice Connelly (Pat) of Genoa, NE, Susan Anderson (Dennis) of Genoa, NE, Joe Sempek (Deb) of Genoa, NE, Larry Sempek (Jill) of Columbus, NE and Ron Sempek (Traci) of Columbus, NE; his grandchildren, Laura Rodriguez (Mike), Pam Pilakowski (Bryan), Bobby Connelly (Emily), Greg Connelly (Tanya), Travis Anderson, Troy Anderson (Cassie), Kara, Amanda Micek (Nick), Luke Sempek (Amber), Jeff Sempek (Megan), Chris Sempek, Melissa Sorensen (Scott), Bryce Sempek (Brittany), Jared Sempek (Chantel), Nicole Kliment (John), Shelby Ulrich (Nate) and Courtney; his sisters, Mary Ann Smyth of California and Delores Sempek of Columbus, NE; and his siblings-in-law, Genevive Sempek of Columbus, NE, Dorthea Sempek of Monroe, NE and Ray Moritz. He is also survived by 23 Great Grandchildren.
