He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis C. Peterson and Marie Peterson (Schow). He is survived by: his wife Anne Peterson of Genoa; his children, Dianne Stuhr (Brad) of Frisco, CO, David Peterson (Ann) of Columbus and Kathleen Hambleton (Kent) of York; his grandchildren, Josh Stuhr (Sarah), Emily Stuhr (Kevin Buhrer), Gabe Stuhr (Emily), Mack Stuhr, Abbie Hambleton (Spencer Smith) of Polk Alyssa and Berkley Anne Went; and his sisters-in-law, Katherine Peterson of Albion, Pluma Jo Peterson of Genoa and Patty Adams of Omaha Several. He is also survived by Several Nieces, Nephews, and extended family.
He was a member of the hospital board, school board, Genoa Medical Foundation, Nance County Board of Supervisors, was a 4-H Leader and was a guide at the Genoa Indian Museum.
