He was predeceased by: his parents, John Cherry and Mable Cherry of Genoa, Nebraska.; his stepmother Ellen Cherry; and his siblings-in-law, Chris and Lois Hiller.
He is survived by: his wife Linda (Hiller); his children, Marc (Karlyn) of Tucson, Melissa (Doug Giles) of Denton and Megan of Princeton; his grandchildren, Christopher Cherry (Chelsea) of Tucson, Lindsay Worden (Cameron) of Burwell, Colin Cherry (Andrea Flores) of Tucson and Gavin Boveia (McKenna Volquardsen) of Lincoln, Nebraska; and his brothers, Larry (Kathleen) of Genoa and Earl (Judy) of Genoa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
