He was predeceased by: his parents, Frederick M. Bruning and Antje Marie Wilhems (Anna); his siblings, Billy Bruce and Phyllis Currey; his siblings-in-law, Clinton Currey and Maria Nedza; his parents-in-law, Charles and Agnes Nedza; and his friends, Norman Dee and Carol Schoenholz.

He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie Bruning of Bruning, NE.; his children, Bruce Bruning of Pueblo, CO., Darren Bruning of Delta Junction, AK. and Cynthia Woff (Tony) of Brookville, KS.; and his grandchildren, Tiffany Case (Mark) of Robert Lee, TX, Tara Chapman (Jacob) of Albany, TX, Antjea Wolff of Pittsburg, KS, Miaya Ashmead of Bend, OR. and Wilson Lee Bruning of San Diego, CA.. He is also survived by 9 great grand children.

The family of Wilson asks that everyone that comes for visitation and for the memorial service wear a mask. All requirements by the DHM for COVID-19 protocol will be followed.
