She was predeceased by: her parents, Clyde Churchill and Mabel Churchill (Crouch); her son Gary; her husband Gilbert Volkmer of Shickley; and her siblings, Gerald Churchill, Everett Churchill, Doris Waltemade, Evelyn Luethke, Eleanor Starr and Lila Benoit.
She is survived by: her son Mark Volkmer (Angela) of Lee's Summit, Missouri; and her daughter-in-law Susan Volkmer of Blue Springs, Missouri. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Geneva Public Library.
