It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert A. Deterding of Geneva, Nebraska, born in Hebron, Nebraska, who passed away on October 8, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Deterding and Ella Deterding (Loontjer); his wife Judy of Bruning; his brother Leonard; and his sister-in-law Shirley Deterding.
He is survived by: his children, Bruce Deterding (Julie) of Wichita, Kansas, Lori Greene of Wichita, Kansas, Mark Deterding (Tammy) of Hays, Kansas, Todd Deterding (Christine) of Lindsborg, Kansas and Brian Deterding (Melanie) of Greensburg, Kansas; and his second love Kathy Johnson. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials suggested to American Lutheran Church of Belleville, and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
