With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Nancy L. Eichelberger (Geneva, Nebraska), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thad Edward Nichols and Loraine Inez Nichols (Edzards) of Joseph's Hospital; her sister Bonnie Dee; her half-sisters, Dodie and Roberta; her parents-in-law, Todd and Harriet Eichelberger (Painter); and her siblings-in-law, Rita Evans (Eichelberger) and Walter Lee Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Shelly Lynn Kennel (Eichelberger) of Geneva and Scott Allen Eichelberger (Jenny); her husband Larry Eichelberger of Lincoln; her grandchildren, Jamey (Vicki), Justin (Hillary), Rebecca (Logan), Nick Eichelberger (Rachel Adame) of Kansas City, Kansas and Elizabeth (Eddy Zabala) of Sarasota, Florida; and her nieces, Kathy (Evans), Jerry Marple of Glendale, Arizona and Kay Peters (Evans) of Fremont, Nebraska. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews, family, and great friends.
They started this group in 1968 and still played until the COVID years in 2020.
Memorials are suggested to the Fillmore County Hospital Foundation or the Geneva United Methodist Church.
