He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Steider and Emma Saltzman Steider; his former wife Bernice Kempf; his brothers, Kenneth and Lester; and his great grandchild Nora Grace Yoder.
He is survived by: his wife Bertha Workentine; his daughters, Susan (Gordon Miller), Ruth (Jack Yoder), Barbara (Robert Steury), LuAnn (Douglas Steury) and Rebecca (Timothy Hochstetler); and his siblings, Delmar Steider (Eva) of Highland Ranch, CO, Leonard Steider (Janice) of Hesston, KS and MaDonna Swartzendruber. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
