She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Leland, LaVerda Dado of Fairmont, NE, John C. and Sophia Jacobs of Ohiowa, NE; her parents-in-law, Robert and Virginia "Ginny" Petersen of Seward; and her brother-in-law Tom Petersen.
She is survived by: her parents, John Jacobs and Sharon Jacobs (Dado) of Geneva; her children, Andrew Michael of Ohiowa and Ashleigh Nicole (Miko Ferry); her husband Jon Petersen; her grandchildren, Nova Reign of Ohiowa and Sylas Ferry of Norfolk, NE; her sister Julie Bundy of Seward, NE; her siblings-in-law, Lori (Dave Feulner) of Hebron, NE, Kim (Julie Petersen) and Sam (Angie) of Hebron, NE.; her nephew Dustin (Casey); her friends, Odie and Leia; and also Lyndsay Bundy of Seward, NE. She is also survived by 3 aunts, several nieces, nephews, cousins.
A memorial service was held on Wednesday, January 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Geneva United Methodist Church (942 H St, Geneva, NE 68361).
Gift giving didn't stop for Jennifer and on January 9, 2025 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lincoln, NE she gave the gift of life, donating her organs.
