He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Johnson and Flossie Johnson (Plautz); his siblings-in-law, Rose Mary Smith, James Smith and Everett Roop; his nephews, Craig Flathman, Darrel Smith, Greg Teachman and Todd Roop; and his great-nephew Brandon Emmons.
He is survived by: his wife Deanna Johnson; his children, Michele Johnson-Clouse (David Clouse) of Lincoln and Kevin Johnson (Michele Johnson) of North Platte; his grandchildren, Jaxon Clouse of Lincoln, Mackenzie Clouse (Joseph Baratta) of Omaha and Megan Johnson (Kyle Raasch) of Denman; his siblings, Stanley, Suzann Johnson, Karen, Dennis Jennings, Darrel and Deborah Johnson; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Teachman, Lynn Woodside, Lorraine, Larry Effenbeck, Cathy Roop, Linda, Wayne Flathman, Jennifer and Larry Johnson. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Farmer & Son Funeral Home (242 N 10th St, Geneva, NE 68361). A funeral service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Christ Lutheran Church (201 N Maple Ave, Davenport, NE 68335).
Memorials are to be directed to Christ Lutheran Church or the Shickley Community Foundation.
