He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred C. Klover (Lorina J.) and Roy Childers; and his mother-in-law Minnie Childers. He is survived by: his wife Deanna Childers; his children, Katherine Ann (Keith Uhlinger), Kurtis Allen and Kristin Allison (Danny Nun); his daughter-in-law Deborah Klover of Hebron, Nebraska; his sister Darlene Mills of Cotopaxi, Colorado; his grandchildren, Cortney James (Simon) of Franklin, Kory Klover of Hebron, Sierra, Conner Uhlinger of Moses Lake, Brevann Nun (Kelly) of Manhattan and Marissa Nun of Omaha, Nebraska; his great grandchildren, Henley, Hadley and Hopelyn James of Franklin, Nebraska; his brother-in-law Roger (Dorothy Childers) of Minneapolis, Minnesota; his aunt Henrietta Oltman of Wymore, Nebraska; and his friend Bree Atmore of York, Nebraska. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be directed to Teammates Mentoring or Prince Of Peace Lutheran Church.
