With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David J. Capek (Geneva, Nebraska), who passed away on December 19, 2023 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John James and Rosemary Capek (Kovanda). He is survived by: his wife Denise Capek, MD of Lincoln, Nebraska; his children, Karel Capek, MD (Janet) of Victoria and Haley Peters; his child-in-law Dr. Darrick Peters of Elkhorn; his child Morgan Capek of Lincoln, Nebraska; his sister Dr. Marilyn Capek of Winchester, Massachusetts; and his grandchildren, Rudy Capek, Ryker Peters, Kyran Peters, Zyan Peters, Tytus Peters, Helen Capek, Ingrid Capek and Greta Capek. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
