In the sacred silence of farewell, Corey is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. He is survived by: his parents, Jerry Herman and Lila Herman (Alice Herman); his uncle Sonny; his wife Alice Herman; his brother Jeff Herman of Geneva, NE.; and his stepchildren, Joseph, Karina Genereux of Palo Alto, CA, Joshua Genereux of Dayton, OH and Naomi Genereux of Syracuse, UT.
When he left to be with God his only request was that his body be donated to the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, to help them in their research to someday find a cure, for the awful disease that took his life at such a young age.
