He is survived by: his children, Carol (Patrick Darnell) of Lincoln and David of Milligan; his grandchildren, Heather Liggett of Kansas, Benjamin Darnell of Tucson, Arizona, Laura (Cody Valentine) of Beatrice and Kristen Zeleny of Lincoln; his great grandchildren, Aurora, Henry Liggett, Boston Donovan Zeleny and Vincent Valentine; his sister-in-law Diane Zeleny; and his nieces and nephews, Barbara Hromadka, Mike (Amy Zeleny), Jeff Zeleny, Logan, Sam, Max Zeleny, Claire, Katherine, John, Lauren Zeleny, Deb (Todd Cook) and Cindy Thieszen. He is also survived by many cousins and friends.
