It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara J. Engelbrecht (Geneva, Nebraska), who passed away on October 4, 2024, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Scott Engelbrecht; her sons, Scott Schropfer (Enice) of Kearney and Shawn Schropfer of Lincoln; her stepchildren, Michelle Kinney (Chad) of Lincoln and Seth (Cheryl) of Milltown, IN; her grandchildren, Chris Schropfer (Lizzy) of Geneva, Andrew Schropfer of Geneva and Brittny Bedke of Geneva; her great grandchildren, Ellie, Brentley, Oakley, Merrick and Tallulah; her stepgrandchildren, Darien, Hudson, Zoe Adriona, Kaylea Jean, Jenalee Page and Seth Scott, Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Maxine Bishop (Jim) of Lincoln and Sue Ann Kriefels (Kent); her nephew Rod Zimmerman; her nieces, Teri Yates (Rowdy) and Brenda Green; and her great-nieces and great-nephews, Shannon Spies (Michael), Ryan Yates (Kathy) and Brooke Braun (Michelle Lessard). She is also survived by her grandkids and great nieces and nephews.
Memorials are to be directed to the family to be designated at a later date in Barb's name.
