She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Sparks and Bertha Sparks (Youngquist); her brothers-in-law, Ralph Delimont and Harry Weisman; her brothers, Bill (Kathy Vandell) and Jack (Alice Ann Taylor); her nephew John Taylor; and her niece Sonya Vandell.
She is survived by: her husband Bob of Funk; her children, Greg and Rona Vandell; her grandchildren, Troy, Courtney (Tracy), Trevor (Beth) and Caitlin (Pete); her children, Trudy and Jim Ekberg; her grandsons, Bret (Andrea) and Tanner; her children, Teresa and David Hohensee; her grandchildren, Tavis (Katie), Chance (Sara) and Walker (Bailee); her great grandchildren, Elle, Drake, Grace, Quinn, Ada, Karter, Halli, Emerson, Mack and Harlow; her sisters, JoAnn Wiesman and Beatrice Delimont; and her nieces, Patty, Beth, Debbie, Heidi and Kara.
A memorial has been established in Phyllis' honor, and kindly suggested to Fridhem Lutheran Church or the Fridhem Cemetery.
