He is survived by: his children, Tina Marie, Jeanette Louise and Kurt Gary; his significant other Jane Francis; his mother Jane Liljehorn of Holdrege; his children, Tina Silvers (Tom) of Funk, Jeanette Berkeypile of Minden and Kurt Liljehorn (Tina) of Lincoln, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Garrett Berkeypile, Brett Berkeypile, Orion Silvers, Emersyn Liljehorn and Sage Bouma; his brothers, Russell Liljehorn of Kearney and Roger Liljehorn (Linda) of Holdrege; his brothers-in-law, Ronald Nitchie (Lana) of Holdrege and Robert Nitchie (Janet) of Sargent, Nebraska; and also, Albert Francis (Kathy) of Mead, Colorado, Abraham Francis (Kayla) of Omaha, Nebraska, Amanda Krause (Jack), Adam Francis (Kasy Bodfield) of Lincoln, Aaron Francis (Keisha Everett) of Springfield, Missouri, Konnor Krause, Leah Francis, Laken Francis and Asher Francis.
A memorial has been established in Bernard's honor, and kindly suggested to the Funk Volunteer Fire Department; the Alzheimer's Association; or the Parkinson's Foundation.
